Inspired by the great North Rose Window of Notre Dame, the Rose Window Socks, like the Rose Window Shawlette is a classically beautiful design containing the vibrant colors that reflect light in our favorite rose cathedral window. I created a 3-ply tweed blend using Colorworks by Debi’s Merino and Tencel, and I combined it with a CBD 2--ply 50/50 Merino/Tencel solid. Your knitting results in a lovely pair of socks that show off the panes and arches of the stained glass design. The socks are warm, and they have a great feel. Tencel adds strength and durability as well as an irresistible sheen.
