Rosefish Sweater
An elegant and lightweight sweater, worked from the top down in a simple construction. The neckline is worked first, followed by increases over the shoulders. The front and back pieces are worked separately back and forth in stockinette stitch. At the underarm, the work is joined, and the body is worked in the round on a circular needle in stockinette stitch. The lower edge of the body is finished with twisted rib, creating a very crisp and well-defined rib hem. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are worked in the round using a circular needle and doublepointed needles or using the magic loop technique, with decreases worked along the way. The sweater has a regular fit with a positive ease of approximately 5–15 cm 2–6 inches.
