’Rosemary’ from ‘Windswept’ is a lovely knit and crochet combination. This design was actually inspired by ‘Bread and Butter’ from Rowan’s ‘Little Star’ brochure. At the time I received lots of emails asking for an adult version, hence I included ‘Rosemary’ in my first book!

The yardage quoted is based on size SMALL.

The colours in Rowan Felted Tweed needed to knit ‘ROSEMARY’ are as follows, the actual weight used is in brackets (5% has been added to my usage):

SIZE SMALL

Watery 152 - 6 x 50gm balls (wt - 289g)
Avocado 161 - 1 x 50gm ball (wt - 27g)
Peony 183 - 1 x 50gm ball (wt - 7g)
Gilt 160 - 1 x 50gm ball (wt - 13g)
Ginger 154 - 1 x 50gm ball (wt - 20g)
Cinnamon 175 - 1 x 50gm ball (wt - 8g)
Pine 158 - 1 x 50gm ball (wt - 10g)
Peony 183 - 1 x 50gm ball (wt - 15g)
Bilberry 151 - 1 x 50gm ball (wt - 61g)

  • The pattern states Paisley 171, this colour is no longer available. Use Peony 183 again as an alternative.

** The pattern states Hedgerow 187, this colour is no longer available. Use Pine 158 as an alternative.

To finish the garment you need the following:
