This is a 2-needle adaptation of Hewitt and Daley’s “Rosemary Sprigs” pattern knitted in the round from their 1988 book “Motifs, Borders and Trims in Classic Knitted Cotton”. This 2-needle version is much easier to manage and faster to knit.

This pattern will work with various weights of threads or yarns, needle sizes and gauges. Choose a thread or yarn that blocks well.

4 blocked motifs are sewn together to make a square. The number of squares needed depends on the size of the desired item: table runner, baby blanket, bedspread, etc.
