These roses could be used to decorate hats, make into a brooch, or use to add a personal touch to gift boxes. These are also super projects for using up any odds and ends of yarn in your stash.

THE PATTERN INCLUDES: Row numbers for each step so you don’t lose your place, instructions for making the rose, photos, a list of abbreviations and materials. The pattern is 2 pages and written in English.

TECHNIQUES: All pieces are knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight knitting needles. You will need to cast on, knit, purl, and work a k2tog (knit two together) decrease.

  • A pair of straight 3.5mm knitting needles (US 4)
  • Double knitting yarns (DK or light worsted weight); less than 10g per flower
  • A darning or tapestry needle
