The first shawl of the Be Mine Collection, a set of 4 floral-inspired shawlettes designed to be both simple and sweet.

Roses Are Red is a top-down, wider triangle shawlette with one easy lace pattern stitch separated by bands of stockinette. The size is easily changed by decreasing or increasing the number of pattern repeats. Samples are shown in fingering weight yarn, but any weight yarn may be used (adjust yardage accordingly). The pattern was inspired by Gudrun Johnston’s adorable Norie hat.

Both charted and written instructions are provided. Skill level: Easy.
