You can use virtually any color, type, and weight of yarn to make your succulents. I used both cotton and acrylic worsted weight yarn to create mine.
To add realistic looking color to the succulents, I used a watercolor brush pen. The pattern includes a bunch of different items that you can substitute to add a tint of color to your crocheted plants.
