The Scrunchie Pattern is an any-gauge guide to help you knit your own custom scrunchie with any yarn! Using a simple formula, you will calculate your cast on stitches based on your gauge, then knit in the round and finish with a Kitchener stitch bind off for a seamless finish.

This pattern includes three sizes — slim, standard, and supersized — and works with any yarn weight from fingering to worsted/aran. It’s a great stash buster and a perfect quick gift!

Video tutorial links are included in the pattern for all techniques used, including the provisional cast on, joining in the round, and the Kitchener stitch bind off. An approximate stitch count and yardage table is also included for fingering, DK, and worsted/aran weights if you prefer to skip the gauge swatch.
