This pattern is an adaptation of a baby dress first published in Weldon’s Practical Needlework vol. 2 (1886)

It requires approximately 6 x 20g balls of DMC Blanc 5200 size 20.

In the book it is illustrated on an antique Simon & Halbig 22 inch doll.
