I knitted this in 4ply, but it can be made in any yarn, probably not too thick though.
I used about 350grams to complete it using 3.75mm (UK9,US5) needles.
Tension is not important.
My finished blanket measured approx. 33inches (84cm) square although you can easily adjust the stiches to make a different size.
This would be nice as a Christening shawl too.
