Red deer – The stag is the king of the woods. During fall time he is adorned with impressing antlers and you can hear him bell from far away. It can feel kind of eerie wandering through the colorful woods then.

When it gets crisp and fog rises from the ground you are perfectly prepared with this hat. Stylized deer’s antlers and a delicate leaf motive can be found here.

The yarn is easy to knit and the warm brown tone flatters the motives. You knit this hat in rounds, cuff up.

Sizes: Toddler (Child) Grown up: fits head circumference: 44 (48) 55 cm / 17 ½” (19”) 22”

Gauge: 26 sts = 1 rep chart = 11 cm 4 ¼”; 16 Rd = 5 cm 2” with N 4,0mm (US 6) in patterns.

Materials:
Yarn: 50 g (50 g) 100 g Wollfaktor, “Nola“ BFL superwash (100% Bluefaced Leicester; 262 Meter 287 yards/ 100 g): Color “Mokka”

Needles:
Circular needle 40cm 16“ or dpn’s size 3,0 mm (US 2,5); circular needle 40 cm 16” or dpn’s size 4,0 mm (US 6).

Notions: 1 Marker (beg of Rd), optional: 5 more Marker to separate the pattern repeats; tapestry needle
