The Round Granny Stitch Blanket is a simple pattern that effectively uses up scrap yarn.

I used Red Heart Super Saver Yarn, which is a worsted weight (10 ply/Aran). However, this pattern can accommodate most yarn thicknesses—just use the crochet hook recommended for the yarn you choose.
