The camisole is designed with 4 inches of negative ease to have a tighter fit.

It is worked from the top down so you can adjust the length to suit you. There is also optional waist shaping. The shoulder straps are worked separately back and forth before being joined and worked in the round. The neck and sleeve stitches are picked up and finished with a ribbed folded edge. The bottom of the body is also finished with a ribbed edge.

Model in the photo wears size L and has a 104cm/41in chest.

Yarn:

DK weight yarn or yarn held together to a combined weight of DK.

Suggested yarn:
Cascade 220 Superwash DK in black. 100% wool superwash. Each ball is 100g for 200m/218 yards.

Needles:
3.25mm (US3) needle size, 40cm / 16 in circulars for ribbing
4mm (US6) needle size, 60cm / 24 in circulars for body

Tension after blocking:
22 sts and 28 rows to 10cm/4in square in st st using 4mm (US 6) needles or needle size required to match gauge.
