This poncho was created September of 2021 while visiting my daughter in Boston. I crocheted the blue poncho first and it was so quick. I ran to the store and grabbed worsted weight yarn to see how it would work up, and this I found. If I would have gone up one size in the pattern it would have been a perfect.

I hope this crochet pattern brings you as joy as it has me. I found out I had breast cancer the first of October of 2021, and I knew I wanted to make myself a red poncho for Christmas. I wore a lot of ponchos after my surgery. They were comforting and I was able to hide what was missing a little easier.
