The Roundabout Dishcloth and Coaster are my take on the traditional square dishcloth, but with softer, rounded corners. These are knit using short rows of garter ridges (one row u-knit + one row purl = garter ridge) to create “triangles” and eight triangles together creates a square fabric. You then take the long tail and sew the cast on edge and the bind off edges together.

Loom: 3/8” gauge loom with a minimum of 21 pegs

Yarn: worsted weight 4 yarn
Coaster - approximately 40-45 yards.
Dishcloth - approximately 60-75 yards.

Finished Sizes:
Coasters = 4” square
Dishcloths = 8” square

Due to the short row construction, these patterns are suitable for an intermediate loom knitter.
