Want to travel Arizona use Historic Route 66 of course!
This magic pattern is a perfect project to take with you on your travels and use along the way. This can be a lap throw, a shrug, a bag or even a neck pillow! It’s all about how you fold it and secure the buttons.
Pattern uses a worsted weight yarn with a tight gauge for textures and colorwork for a super squishy, durable project.

Finished size 30”w x 50”L
Materials:
Yarn: 7 skeins total of Vintage by Berroco (52% Acrylic/40% Wool/8% Nylon, 218 yards per 3.5 oz skein, #4/Worsted Weight)

Color A: 5 skeins
Color B: 1 skein
Color C: 1 skein

Note: There should be a strong contrast between your three colors. For the best effect in the illusion/shadow knitting section, Color B should be much lighter than Color A.

Needles: One 32” circular needle in US Size 5 (3.75 mm), or size needed to obtain gauge
One set of Double Point Needles (DPN) in US size 5 (3.75 mm) for making I-cord

Other Materials:
Locking stitch markers
Darning needle
4 buttons 1”

Gauge: 5.5 stitches per inch in stockinette stitch after blocking

Note: It is important that your gauge be as accurate as possible to help ensure that you will have enough yarn to complete your project.
