Row by Row JAYG is a method for joining granny squares for a blanket. It is a simplified alternative to the continuous join-as-you-go, because it is worked in horizontal rows, then in vertical rows, until the entire blanket is joined. Because the joins are worked to and fro, I have nicknamed this the “Boomerang Join.”

I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed putting it together! As a side note, the video for this tutorial was the first video I ever made on my YouTube channel – how cool is that?! Anyway, grab a stack of squares and a cuppa, and dive right in. ~~ Pattern is written by me, Rachele Carmona. Find joining tutorials and a whole lot more at CypressTextiles.net.
