Rowan by co-founder Meghan Babin is a celebration of cables. The intricate central cable motif on the back is an updated version of traditional Celtic knotwork, which grows like tree roots from the ribbing, hence how this design received its name, Rowan, the sacred Tree of Life in Celtic mythology, a symbol of courage, wisdom, and protection. There is no better fall ritual than to wrap yourself in Rowan through the upcoming seasons and years ahead.

Rowan is a longline, open-front cardigan with deep, pockets, fully-fashioned set-in shoulder shaping, and a grand collar that’s folded and seamed down in finishing for ease of wear. This cardigan is worked from the bottom up in pieces, blocked, seamed, with the collar picked up and worked last. Made (as always) to fit a size 32”-64” bust, this cardigan is made for anyone searching for a cabled project that is both engaging and deeply rewarding.
