You will need:
Approx. 250g/9 oz. any worsted yarn – a little more if you are increasing length
Straight knitting needles, sizes 4mm (8 U.K., 6 U.S.) and 3.5mm (10 U.K., 3 U.S.)
Cable needle
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
3 buttons or toggles

Gauge: 17 sts + 24 rows = 4” in stocking stitch using the larger needle. Please check your gauge as you may need to use larger or smaller needles depending on your tension.
