When Tiffany of Tippy Tree Yarns asked if I would be interested in creating some Mary Poppins inspired pieces for her Mary Poppins Returns- inspired colorways, I was so incredibly happy! I could not wait to see what magic she created, and she did not disappoint! This is the first in her new collection, Royal Doulton Bowl and it was so much fun to work up a pattern that suggested the whimsy yet daintiness of this iconic piece so important to the movie (and the book for those of you who are P. L. Travers fans). This cowlette is worked flat and then once the neck circumference is achieved, you join to work in the round. I just love the drape on this piece and hope you love it as much as I do!
