Fans of the Rubik’s Cube will love this pattern! Create you’ve very own solved or unsolved iconic 3x3 cube invented by a Hungarian professor of Architecture, Erno Rubik in 1974. This pattern is knit flat in the shape of a cube net and then sewn up into shape, although it doesn’t quite twist and turn it makes an excellent stress ball, toy or ornament.
The most interesting fact about the Rubik’s cube is that there are 43 quintillion possible combinations, or to be more precise, 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 combinations that exist in the puzzle that can fit in the palm of your hand! And if that isn’t mind-boggling enough, each of these 43 quintillion combinations can be solved in 20 moves or less! The Rubik’s cube is also one of the best-selling toys in the world!
