I was googling the term “ruffle”, trying to come up with a name for this ruffle crochet scarf, when I came across the term “Ruckus” and knew I had a name for my new design!

This is an advanced beginner crochet pattern using single, half double, and double crochet stitches to create the ruffle. Scarf is made sideways.

There is also a knit version!

You can use any yarn, any hook, and any gauge, and make the scarf to your desired width and length.

Many thanks to my testers, beadabunch, laurie2011, Vaughnde, pandastamper, debspugs, mollyanna, shyamanivas and MandyS2!

Feel free to make as many of these as you like for local craft fairs/auctions/raffles/bazaars, but please do not sell finished items online. If making for charity, please let me know the name of the charity & include my contact info with the item (http://anastaciaknits.net).
