About the Knitting Pattern
These Children’s Christmas Hats are designed for little ones from birth to 3 years old and feature a friendly Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer motif with a bright red bobble nose. The pattern includes two styles — a Bobble Hat and a Teabag Hat — knitted in double knitting (DK) wool and finished with festive pompoms. The pattern is written in English and supplied as a digital download PDF.

Design Details
Both hats are knitted flat on straight needles and a chart is provided to complete the motif. Rudolph’s eyes are embroidered on as a French knot and a bobble is created for the nose and sewn on separately.

Sizes
Instructions include four sizes:
• 0–6 months
• 6–12 months
• 12–24 months
• 24–36 months

Skills Level
Intermediate — written instructions are provided, but experience is needed to work from a chart for the motif.

Yarn
Knitted in double knitting (DK) wool. Alternative equivalents: USA Light Worsted or Australian 8 Ply.
You will need:
• 1 × 50g ball each of Red, Light Brown, Dark Brown, White and Green
• Oddments of Black

Needles
3.25 mm (USA 3) and 4.0 mm (USA 6) straight needles
