These tater tot toys only take a tiny amount of yarn. Use up your scraps! You can experiment with different weights of yarn, just be sure that your hook is appropriate so that you don’t end up with holes in your work. You might need to try a few different hook sizes depending on your tension.

Using DK yarn and a 3mm hook, our Rudy is approximately 9cm tall. The size will vary depending on yarn used and tension.
