This hat is knitted sideways in garter stitch. The lines are drawn by slip stitches with two leaves circling around your head like a headband.
This hat is named after the street where I used to live when I was young; it means “middle school’s street”. And since I am a teacher, I am also going back to school very soon, wearing an original hat with a little vintage look.

If you substitute yarn, please use a soft/flexible/ floppy yarn, something with drape (apaca for instance…)

Pattern has been test knitted.
The instructions are charted. This would be great for a 1st project using a chart. And since the pattern requires bulky yarn, it would make a very quick last minute gift.
