✿ Dainty, delicate and full of ruffles

One of my favorites! This knit onesie is perfect for summer or a photo session. It’s dainty, delicate and, best of all, it has ruffles.

It’s knit flat on straight needles, with a larger needle for the ruffles and an optional ribbon tie at the middle.

✨ What makes it work

• Ruffles. Butterfly ruffles worked on a larger needle.
• Straight needles. No circulars needed.
• Optional ribbon tie. A sweet finishing touch at the middle.
• Easy level. Simple shaping with a big payoff.

✂️ What you’ll need

• Yarn: Angora Haze, Rowan, or Chroma Fingering, WeCrochet, or any yarn to match gauge, approx. 130 yds
• Needles: US 7 (4.0mm) straight needles for the body · US 8 (5.0mm) straight needles for the ruffles
• Tools: Stitch Marker · Row counter · Sewing needle · Scissors
• To finish like the sample: Optional ribbon for the middle tie
