Ruffle flared Skirt
YouTube tutorial available here
https://youtu.be/hySgNQnH1rg?si=ruh9za5X_f6d5FF3
This skirt is worked from the waistband down in rounds.
The body is primarily made with double crochet stitches and ruffles (created by working 3dc into each stitch of the designated round).
The skirt can be customized in length by adjusting the number of body rounds before working on the ruffles.
Gauge is not critical for this pattern, but consistent stitch tension is recommended for an even finish.
This pattern is worked using two strands of light weight (DK/#3) yarn held together. You may also use a single strand of worsted weight yarn as a substitute.
The design uses two different colors.
Materials needed:
* 50g Light weight (DK/#3) yarn — used held double throughout.
alternatively, you can substitute with a single strand of Worsted/Aran weight (#4) yarn. You’ll need 5 balls of major colour(yarn A)and 2 Balls of yarn B.
- 4.5mm crochet hook (or size needed to obtain gauge)
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Tape measure
