The Ruffle Sweater is knit bottom up. The simple straight constructions features shaping in three places, the underarms, neck opening and also shoulders. The shoulder shaping is done with German short rows and front and back are joined using the three-needle Bind Off. Sleeve stitches are picked up from arm openings and mock neck stitches are picked up from neck opening. Mock neck is folded and sewn for a thicker, warmer neck covering.
