Fill the 10 ½” basket or bowl with spring treats! The wire insert for the handle is optional. Cute for Easter, and a lovely Mother’s Day gift, wedding basket, and plant holder for a 4” pot.

Information from pattern:
The bowl and basket are knit with a double strand of worsted felting yarn; the ruffle portion is made with one strand of worsted felting yarn.

Optional carry along yarn: thread based such as Crystal Palace Little Flowers

Instruction is included for the optional florist wire insert handle, (the basket is pictured with a wired handle).

Finished size will vary with yarn selection & duration of felting.

Felted Basket: 4 ¾”tall (10½”tall with handle), 4½” diameter
220 yards worsted yarn main color and 20 yards carry along yarn (optional) in ruffle and base and 50-100 yards worsted yarn for stripes and contrast ruffle, depending upon how many stripes you incorporate into the design.

Felted Egg Bowl: 3”tall, 5”long, 3½”wide opening, base 7” long, 5” wide

10 lb weight nylon twine, 36” per basket.
18 gauge florist wire (18” length) & wire cutter.
