Knitting pattern for keyhole front and ruffle edges RuffleVeil Blouse. The body is knit flat, the sleeves are made in the round (easy to adjust for flat knitting as well), relaxed fit, adjustable body and sleeve length.

Suggested yarn:

  1. Yarn A for main body: ITO Kinu (100% Silk) – 425m/ 464yds per 50g held double – 0357 Vanilla – 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4 skeins.
  2. Yarn B for ruffle: ITO Sensai (60% Mohair, 40% Silk) 240m/ 262 yds per 20g – 0301 Cream – up to 10g for sizes XXS-M, up to 20g for sizes L-XL.

• A pair of 3.0mm (US 2.5, UK 11) 80-100 cm/ 32-40” circular needles for bottom ruffle or I-cord. You may also need DPNs for sleeve ruffle if you are not using the Magic Loop technique.
• A pair of 4.0mm (US 6, UK 8) 80-100 cm/ 32-40” circular needles for the main body.
• Cable needle or double pointed needle.
• Tapestry needle.
• Some waste yarn.
• Measuring tape.
• Some markers.
• Scissors.

GAUGE (TENSION) approximate:
20-21 sts x 30-31 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) in stockinette stitch after washing and blocking. The swatch is made with 4.0mm (US 6, UK 8) knitting needles.
