The Rugged Slopes Cowl uses a stitch I fell in love with, the Sedge Stitch. You can find a lot of Video Tutorials on how to do the Sedge Stitch.

This crochet pattern was designed to go with the Rugged Slopes Messy Bun & Beanie crochet pattern here in Ravelry.

I used between 100-200 yards for sizes Small, Medium, and Large. I used Premier Everyday yarn in Gray. I also used Walmart’s yarn for the Blue Camo cowl.

Notes:
Chain 1 does NOT count as a stitch.
The Cowl is worked in Rows and in the Round.
Pattern is written for Small, Medium, and Large Adult.
Stitch counts are 72 (81, 99) respectively.
Gauge is NOT important in this design.
