Rule of Three Slippers

I suddenly realised that all feet have very similar proportions, regardless of size. That led to this pattern for simple slippers. You only need to know the (approximate) size of a person’s foot and you can make slippers in any yarn, using any needles, without making a tension square.
This is a typical Woolly Thoughts pattern. It works on simple mathematical principles.
The only maths you need is to be able to divide a small number by three.
The basic pattern can be customised in various ways - some of which can be seen in the photos.
