In search of a basic raglan pullover with a V neck flattering for all bodies, here is Rules of 3’s! Long sleeves with ribbing to keep the draft out, applied i-cord around the neck and notes regarding optional bust darts and waist shaping to make this your best fitting pullover.

3 sizes but easily customizable for your arm size, bust size, waist fit preference and length.

Stitch gauge of about 4 spi will get you close and the row gauge isn’t critical as many suggestions for length are given.

Worsted weight merino in a highly variegated colorway with an option to add a tonal or solid edging will disguise any ‘design elements’ that might sneak it.

Although not a complicated pattern, given the range of options this is best suited for an knitter with experience knitting top down sweaters. Familiarity or practice with applied i-cord bind off is helpful. Helpful links for adding bust darts, and for K2tog tbl.

Huge thanks to my test knitter TLC and my model Emily.
