#This pattern is for CUFF-DOWN, TOE-UP is HERE.

This is acuff down** version of Run to the Light toe up socks, pictured first in the photos. The heel has a gusset/heel flap, as show in the second photo.**

This pattern was inspired by a beautiful skein of yarn named “Dimple Drill”. The yarn reminded me of the greenery along the beach. Then I remembered watching the sea turtles laying their eggs on the beach. When we went back after the two-month incubation period, the turtle hatchlings all had dug out of their nest. As a group, they left their nest and headed directly for the sea, leaving their little “imprints” on the beach, going down to the water, following the moonlight.

The pattern is written for DPNs referring to Needles 1-4. You can accommodate it for Magic Loop or 2 circulars.

NOTIONS: Stitch marker to mark the beginning of the round, A tapestry needle for weaving ends.

PATTERN STYLE: The pattern contains written as well as chart instructions. There is a key and full abbreviation list included as well.

DIFFICULTY: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate: Front/Back Cross and Front/Back Twist cabling, increases, decreases, and sock construction.

YARN: This pattern was designed to show off the beautiful colors in variegated yarn. Certainly solid or lightly tonal yarn would show excellent stitch definition.
