Runelight glows with rhythmic motifs that shimmer across the fabric like ancient runes illuminated by light. Its stepped, diagonal lines create a sense of flow and movement, while the slipped-stitch technique keeps the knitting meditative and approachable.

Runelight pattern is designed for two contrasting colors or a luminous gradient set. You can use any number of colors. The sample shown uses one full skein for the main dark color and twelve bright mini skeins for the contrast color. The size is fully adjustable, so you can create a smaller scarf or a sweeping wrap by adding or reducing repeats. Worked with one color per row, the pattern includes both written instructions and charts.
