The inspiration for these socks came from the stockings in the Prada Fall 2010 Runway show. I loved how the menswear styled socks were made to look soft and feminine with the addition of the puffy cable down the front of the leg.

The cable is knit using a much larger needle which makes the cable light, puffy and soft enough to not be a bother while wearing shoes. They are the perfect accessory to spruce up some mary janes and a warm wool skirt.

The main body of the sock is a simple 2x2 rib, with the added “V” detail on the back of the sock created by the calf increases.
