When I first discovered Rustic Heather Sport by Lichen and Lace, I fell in love with the soft and fuzzy texture. I couldn’t quite find the right pattern for my hands at the denser gauge I typically like in a mitten, so I turned to my library of stitch patterns and made one up. Of course I needed a matching hat, and so this set was created.

Gauge
32 sts and 43 rounds = 4” in Stockinette Stitch

Mitten Measurements
X-Small: 6” circumference at palm (unstretched)
Small: 6.5” circumference at palm (unstretched)
Medium: 7” circumference at palm (unstretched)
Large: 7.5” circumference at palm (unstretched)
X-Large: 8” circumference at palm (unstretched)
XX-Large: 8.5” circumference at palm (unstretched)

Hat Measurements
Small: 15.75” circumference (unstretched)
Medium: 16.5” circumference (unstretched)
Large: 18.25” circumference (unstretched)

For both items, choose the size that is closest to, but smaller than your actual measurements. The stitch pattern stretches easily.
