Nothing is worse than having your daily treat spoiled because your hand is either too hot or too cold to hold it. Good thing you can crochet! All you need is a cup cozy or ice cream pint cozy to protect your hand and keep it at the perfect temperature while you indulge.

This pattern is written in ENGLISH using US terminology and has been tested by others. It includes detailed instructions and for the featured stitches (links to blog posts with step-by-step photos + video are also provided) and photos to help with stitch placement.

SKILL LEVEL: Advanced Beginner
Skills used: working in the round, single crochet, half double crochet, half double crochet decrease, herringbone half double crochet

MATERIALS:

• Yarn: Approximately 35-40 yards of #4/worsted weight cotton yarn (samples made using Dishie from WeCrochet)
• Hook: 5.0mm/H hook

INCLUDED SIZES:

• Hot Cup Cozy: Fits on most “to-go” cups.
• Iced Cup Cozie: Fits on most standard 12-16 ounce “to-go” iced drink cups.
• Ice Cream Pint Cozy: Fits most ice cream pints.
