This pattern is for a knitted bowl. It’s made using a chunky yarn and a DK weight yarn held together. It can be made with one yarn only but it wouldn’t turn out as sturdy.

It’s made using two needles and knitted flat. The body of the bowl is knitted first then the bottom piece is knitted, and they are joined together by sewing them up.

The bowl is one size but you can create other sizes yourself by using different types of yarn and/or needle size.

They are quick and easy to make and are ideal for keeping yarn scraps, stitch holders, stitch markers, notions, etc inside.

Basic knitting skills are needed for this project: knitting flat, casting on and off, sewing, knitting with two strands of yarn held together.

Needle size is 6.5mm (10.5 US). Scissors and tapestry needle are also needed for this project.
