The open poncho combines the comfort of a large shawl with the casual look of an oversized vest. The delicate color gradients that are created by working with two strands of Alpaca cloud with different color changes are the perfect addition to the the airy, lightweight texture of the yarn. The basic pattern is worked in stockinette, the shaping at the neckline is achieved with double stitches and short rows.
