The Saaremaa Beanie is a classical fitted hat with a folded brim. It’s knitted in jacquard style for maximum warmth. It’s a homage to a journey to the Estonian Island Saaremaa where my passion for knitting was fuelled years ago and inspired by the local art of knitting and patterns.

It’s a suitable pattern for jacquard knitting beginners. Combine subtle shades or contrasting colours for different style options.

You may choose any yarn that is matching the gauge and your personal aesthetics.
I suggest yarns that have a length of 110m – 150m /50g.
