Included is a full colour instructional crochet pattern to make either fingerless gloves or mittens. A photo tutorial is included on how to perform the spike stitch.

Supplies:
2 crochet hooks (check which size is recommended on your yarn label. Use that size for the glove and 1mm smaller for the band.
Darning needle for sewing ends
Scissors

This pattern has been written so that you can use any weight yarn, I recommend any #4 or #5 weight yarn. You will need at least 2 colours for the effect to show up. I prefer to use Caron x Pantone because of the multiple colour choices.
