The Sago Cycad was inspired by a Fern named Sago Cycad, I knew I had to take a picture and figure out how to translate it into a design and that is how this pattern came to life!
The pattern uses Elongated stitches by wrapping the yarn over the needle more than once, a tutorial video of the stitch is linked in the pattern.

Needles: US 2 (2.75MM) and US 4 (3.5MM) or needle size to get gauge

Yarn: Teal Torch Knits Sock, Shown in Reckless Toad

Gauge: 6 Sts and 9.5 Rnds per inch

Yardage: About 140- 220 yards

Notions: 4 Stitch marker, 1 for Beginning of round and 3 to separate repeat sections (Optional)

Sizes: Small (Medium, Large, X-Large) to fit 19, (21, 23, 24) inches head circumference
