This children’s jumper features a cheerful red boat sailing away on the waves… The jumper is worked flat from the bottom up, with the main image worked from colour charts using the intarsia method, with seagulls embroidered on at the end. The stripey rib at the hem and cuffs adds a splash of colour and an extra nautical detail. Techniques include knit and purl stitches, intarsia colour work from charts, increases and decreases and picking up stitches.
