Simple fingerless mittens with two uses :
-they can be worn like fingerless mittens if you tuck the cuffs at the top of the mitts, to maintain the use of the fingers on screens or their agility for any manual act,
-by covering all your fingers, and even the thumbs, because the mittens are long enough, you can keep fingers warm when needed.
Of course, you can simply make fingerless mittens by binding off the stitches whenever you want.

Construction is easy, 2x2 ribs feature a beautiful sailor knot pattern which adds a tightening at the wrist. That makes these mitts comfortable and stretchy.
They are knitted from the bottom to top and seamless. This pattern is shown with worsted weight yarn and size US 4 (3.5 mm) needles for a tight gauge and fits a standard size of women’s hand. If you change the needles size and/or yarn weight, you get different mitten sizes.
Shown in : Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash, 65 g.
Needles : US 4 (3.5 mm) DPNs or circular needles.
Notions : Cable needle, 3 stitch markers, waste yarn or another circular needle with 2 ends caps, tapestry needle.
