Saint Patrick is well known for evangelizing the Celts, and his teaching on the Trinity. This shawl takes its inspiration from both. This top‑down, semi‑circular shawl has Celtic twining cables and textured stitches. Stockinette wings and a trinity‑stitch center flow into a border of Celtic motifs framed by Irish moss rib. Worked in worsted, it knits up quickly into a warm, cozy wrap for winter.

The pattern is still available in Knotions Magazine. This updated version includes instructions for a larger size, as well as a schematic.
