As described in the book: “This is a simple stockinette stitch vest with random stripes and side extension panels. Colors of yarns are randomly changed to form multi-colored stripes.”

  • Three sizes are provided with finished chest measurements of 42 inches (106.5 cm), 44 inches (112 cm) and 48 inches (122 cm).

  • Four colors of yarn are required: 7 skeins each of two colors and 1 skein each of two others. Yarns are used double throughout. Two different colors may be held together from time to time to achive the random, woven look.

  • Knit flat in pieces, sizing is obtained by varying the width of the side panels.

  • Straight or circular needles as you prefer in both sizes are required. Stitch holders will also be needed.
