Sakura Vest さくら
Designed by: Kalliopi Aronis

I like the color of Cherry Blossoms (sakura in Japanese) so I decided to make a vest inspired by them!

Garment measures 36”(38”, 40”, 42”) at bust
Model wearing size 38” worn with 4” positive ease for a relaxed fit but can be worn with no or negative ease too

Bubblegum, 1(1, 1, 2) skeins (C2)
Au Natural, 1(1, 1, 2) skeins (C3)

On colored yarn gauge is: 23 sts & 32 rows = 4“ in Stockinette Stitch

Tools

Markers (m)

Notes
Vest is worked flat then seamed.
Sts are picked up for neckline and armholes then worked in-the-round
Double yos are worked as follows on the Wrong Side: p1, p1tbl
To lengthen vest it is advisable to make the ribbing longer, the stripe heights of the back are aligned to the height of the charts worked in the corresponding color on the front
