Salamander is worked from front of the Head in continuous rounds until splitting for the Body, and is then rejoined in the round for the Tail. Fingers, Front Legs, and Back Legs are worked separately and sewn in open gaps along the Body as top and belly are seamed together. Spots and Eyes are sewed on at finishing. Use stitch markers to mark beginning of rounds/rows and move markers up with each consecutive round/row. When changing colors, complete the final pull-through of the last stitch of round with new color.
