The Salaya Water Bottle Holder was inspired by my Salaya Market Bag pattern and it’s a filet crochet style holder, with the bottom consisting of single crochet and half double crochet! The body of the bag is constructed with 2 sets of 6 double crochet on the sides and a ch 3, dc pattern to make the filet pattern

I used a firmer yarn to make this pattern, but I think that a firmer/stiffer cotton yarn would work fine too! I purchased this yarn at a market in Thailand, and it did not have any labels so the yardage of the hank & the material is a mystery to me!

This pattern is adjustable with some knowledge of crochet to accommodate other waterbottle sizes too!
